An officer was suspended for actions before and after a domestic altercation that involved a shooting.

Columbus, Ohio

An officer inadvertently shot a four-year-old girl while attempting to shoot the family dog. The girl was wounded in the leg.

An officer was charged with a felony after a fatal hit-and-run of a pedestrian.

A now-former deputy was sentenced to 10 years for vehicular manslaughter of a 14-year-old girl. He was driving 89mph in 40mph zone responding to a non-emergency situation. He struck another car, killing the teenaged passenger.

Inkster, Michigan

The City settled an excessive force lawsuit for $100,000. This lawsuit involved the now-former officer facing criminal charges for a recent video recorded assault during arrest. The City settled with that victim for $1.4 million.

Bexar County, Texas

A deputy was arrested for aggravated assault for allegedly holding a knife to child’s throat.

Clearwater, Florida

An internal investigation prompts one officer suspension and one resignation for misconduct.
